One hour for this Globe
Bhubaneswar 26.03.10 Earth hour is going to be observed all over the world at 8:30pm on Saturday, 27 March. Lights will go out in homes, office buildings, town halls and public spaces across the globe - from the world's tallest building in Dubai, to San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge... and in YOUR living room!
It has been requested by WWF to all of you to Switch off your lights for one hour at this time. That is all it takes for you to participate along with millions of people in the single largest mass statement on climate change.
Lets know something more about Earth hour. Earth Hour is more than just turning off the lights for one hour together once a year. According to WWF "When we do this together, when whole cities go dark, we send a strong message to our leaders about the threats of global warming and that we can work together to create a sustainable future for our planet".
According to sources last year, 4,000 cities in 88 countries took part in the international celebration of darkness. This year let us help to make it even bigger. This will not only our responsibility but also helpful in saving this globe in a broader prospective.
